About the job

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced business operations manager to lead and establish our operations in India. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional operational, financial, and leadership capabilities to drive our India business setup and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Office Setup and Compliance:
- Oversee the establishment of Niural’s India office, including infrastructure setup, legal registrations, and statutory compliance.
- Ensure timely completion of all legal and statutory requirements, such as company incorporation, licensing, and adherence to labor laws, taxation, and industry-specific regulations.
- Operational Strategy and Risk Management:
- Develop and implement operational processes to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and support scalable growth.
- Identify potential risks (legal, operational, or financial) and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth and secure operations.
- Client Services and Quality Assurance:
- Lead client service functions, ensuring high-quality support, customer satisfaction, and strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- HR Management and Workforce Development:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including hiring, onboarding, and fostering alignment with local workplace culture.
- Develop HR policies and practices that align with Indian work culture while maintaining Niural’s global standards to ensure a motivated and engaged workforce.
- Implement KPIs to evaluate employee productivity and performance.
- Financial Operations:
- Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, and compliance with local financial regulations.
- Prepare and deliver detailed financial and operational reports to senior management, incorporating key metrics and data-driven insights.
- Vendor and Contract Management:
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, service providers, and consultants to support efficient business operations and office setup.
- Ensure cost-efficiency, quality assurance, and scalability in vendor relationships.
- Global Collaboration:
- Collaborate with global teams to align India operations with Niural’s broader company objectives and standards.
- Office and Facilities Management:
- Oversee office management, including facilities, procurement of supplies, and administrative support to ensure an optimal working environment.
- Operational Point of Contact:
- Act as the go-to person for all operational needs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth workflows across all departments.
Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in Business Operations and Project Management.
- At least 2-3 years of experience managing operations in India.
- Proven experience in setting up new offices, ensuring legal and statutory compliance, and managing cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing client services, HR functions, and vendor relationships in an international company (preferred).
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, taxation, and business regulations.
- Ability to create and implement operational strategies that enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with global teams, clients, and local staff.
- Strong project management and risk management skills.
- Financial acumen, including the ability to manage budgets, accounting, and financial compliance.
- Proficient in using business operations and HR management software.
