About the Job

We are looking for a Jr. Software Engineer - Frontend who will play a key role in building and refining our user-facing applications. You should have experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development practices, along with a strong understanding of responsive design and component-driven architecture. Familiarity with tools like Tailwind CSS, Radix UI, and Storybook is highly valued.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to deliver accessible, high-quality, and pixel-perfect user interfaces. You’ll help build reusable components, integrate APIs, and contribute to our testing processes using tools like Jest and Cypress. We’re looking for someone who enjoys hands-on development, pays attention to detail, and is excited to grow their frontend expertise while building reliable, scalable products.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using React and TypeScript.
  • Contribute to building responsive UIs with Tailwind CSS.
  • Use Radix UI to help build accessible and reusable components.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and test UI components using Storybook.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and readable code following best practices.
  • Work with designers to implement pixel-perfect UI based on design specs.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and manage data flow.
  • Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Help test components and user flows using tools like Jest and Cypress.
  • Learn and apply modern frontend standards, tools, and workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and debug basic frontend issues across browsers and devices.

About you

  • 1–2 years of experience in frontend development (internship or project experience is a plus).
  • Familiarity with ReactTypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Understanding of responsive design and CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
  • Interest in accessibility, component-driven development, and UI testing.
  • Eagerness to learn new tools like Radix UIStorybookJest, and Cypress.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Curious, proactive, and excited about growing in a fast-paced startup environment.
