About the job
Niural is a high-growth company with a global footprint, striving to redefine operational excellence and client satisfaction. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced business operations manager to lead and establish our operations in India. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional operational, financial, and leadership capabilities to drive our India business setup and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll & Employee Benefits
- Process monthly payroll and calculate employee CTC, gross, and net pay.
- Manage benefits registration and payments (e.g., PF, ESIC, gratuity, insurance).
- Maintain accurate employee financial records and ensure timely statutory deductions and remittances.
2. Accounting & Bank Reconciliation
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure transaction accuracy.
- Support audit preparation and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
- Record, categorize, and verify all accounting entries in line with company policies.
3. Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure timely filing and payment of GST, TDS, and labour law compliances.
- Coordinate with external consultants or authorities for statutory filings and updates.
- Maintain compliance calendar and ensure all financial deadlines are met.
4. Financial Reporting & Budgeting
- Prepare periodic financial statements and performance reports for management review.
- Support budget tracking, expense monitoring, and variance analysis.
- Assist in preparing forecasts and ensuring financial discipline across departments.
5. Operations & Resource Management
- Assist in team resource allocation and operational coordination.
- Ensure timely invoice creation and distribution to relevant clients or departments.
- Coordinate with the headquarters on policy implementation, approvals, and internal control systems.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or operations (preferably in a multi-entity setup).
- Strong understanding of Indian labor laws, GST, TDS, and payroll systems.
- Proficiency with Tally, QuickBooks, or similar accounting tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in working with cross-border or multi-country teams.
- Familiarity with audit processes, financial reporting, and compliance management.
- Strong attention to detail, accountability, and ability to meet deadlines.
