On-Chain Wallet Verification Comes to Niural Pay Accounts Payable

Crypto payments don't offer a do-over. Once funds move on-chain, they move for good, and a single error in a wallet address or the wrong network selected can send money somewhere no one can retrieve it.

Niural Pay Accounts Payable now closes that gap with On-Chain Wallet Verification.

Before releasing a full payment, teams using AP can confirm a recipient's wallet through a small on-chain test payment. The test proves two things at once: that the wallet can actually receive funds on the selected network, and that the intended recipient has access to it. Only after both are confirmed does a wallet become eligible for full AP payments.

Why this matters

By validating the wallet address and network on a small test transaction first, teams catch the errors that matter most before any material amount moves.

How it works

The verification flow is designed so that only the true owner of a wallet can complete it:

  1. A new crypto wallet starts as Unverified.
  2. The sender selects Send Test Payment.
  3. Niural Pay sends a small test payment to the wallet.
  4. The recipient receives an email with reference details, but not the complete transaction ID.
  5. The recipient checks their wallet and enters the full transaction ID.
  6. Niural Pay validates the information and marks the wallet as Fully Verified.

Because the complete transaction ID is only visible to whoever can see the payment land on-chain, entering it correctly confirms that the recipient controls the wallet.

What this means for finance and operations teams

The result is a tighter control point where mistakes are costly and permanent. Finance teams get confidence that funds will reach the right wallet on the right network. Operations teams get a repeatable step that fits into existing AP workflows rather than another manual check to chase down. And both get a clear, auditable record of how and when each wallet was verified, useful for reconciliation, internal controls, and audit readiness.

Verification is available now for crypto wallets in Niural Pay Accounts Payable.
