Why Niural?

At Niural, IT is the backbone that keeps a fast-moving, globally distributed team productive and secure. As an IT Administrator, you will help build and maintain the systems that power how Niural works every day, from laptops and access management to networks and security tooling. This is a role where your work directly impacts every employee, and where you will learn from senior engineers operating at the standards required of an AI-native financial infrastructure company.

About the Job

As an IT Administrator at Niural, you will provide first- and second-line technical support across a mixed environment of Windows, macOS, and Linux systems. You will work alongside the IT team to keep our hardware, software, networks, and user accounts reliable, while growing your skills across endpoint management, identity, and security operations.

This role focuses on hands-on user support, account and access management, endpoint administration, and contributing to documentation and process improvements. You will help translate operational complexity into smooth, well-documented workflows that scale with the company.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a first point of contact for IT support requests via ticketing system, email, chat, and walk-ups.
  • Set up, configure, and deploy laptops and desktops running Windows, macOS, and Linux for new hires and existing employees.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, peripheral, and connectivity issues across all three operating systems.
  • Install, update, and patch operating systems, drivers, and business applications.
  • Create, modify, and disable user accounts in Active Directory, Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace, and other business systems.
  • Manage group memberships, distribution lists, shared drives, and basic file permissions.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including equipment provisioning and recovery.
  • Help enforce password policies, multi-factor authentication, and basic security hygiene.
  • Assist with monitoring servers, networks, printers, and other infrastructure, escalating issues as needed.
  • Support basic network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP) under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Help maintain backups, antivirus/EDR agents, and MDM management for endpoints across operating systems.
  • Track and maintain IT asset inventory, including laptops, monitors, peripherals, and licenses.
  • Create and update internal documentation, knowledge base articles, and how-to guides for end users and IT staff.
  • Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to processes, tools, or training.
  • Participate in IT projects such as rollouts, migrations, and security initiatives.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience in an IT support, help desk, or similar role (internships and lab experience count).
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 in a business environment.
  • Familiarity with macOS and at least basic comfort with a Linux distribution (e.g., Ubuntu) from the command line.
  • Understanding of core IT concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi, file sharing, and basic Active Directory.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace as an end user, with eagerness to learn the admin side.
  • Awareness of MDM management, basic cybersecurity practices, and endpoint security tooling.
  • Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to follow structured problem-solving steps.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with patience for non-technical users.
  • Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple tickets and priorities at once.
  • Passion for IT craft and a desire to grow within a high-standards, AI-native platform.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary package designed to reward your expertise and contributions.
  • Access to continuous learning and career advancement programs.
  • Opportunities for mentorship and coaching to help you grow in your career.
  • Supportive and collaborative work environment where ideas are valued, and teamwork is encouraged.
  • Complimentary snacks and lunch provided to keep you energized throughout the shift.
  • A latest device and a high-performance monitor will be provided to boost your productivity.
